The second of the Fire District’s two new ambulances was placed in service on April 12, 2023 by Black Shift personnel at our fire station 122 located at 419 Plainfield Road in Darien. The ambulance is a 2022 Ford F-550 and was built by Osage Ambulances of Linn, MO.
With the two new ambulances going into service, the District reassigned one of its 2019 Osage ambulances to Station 124 in Willow Springs replacing a 2013 ambulance.
