The Fire Prevention Bureau plays an important role at the Tri-State Fire Protection District and provides a premium service to its people in the community. We are accountable for many phases of public fire and life safety including but not limited to a 911 emergency call, helping children learn of fire safety, visiting a block party or participating in special events.
We are responsible for helping protect and prevent future potential fire and life safety hazards within the District. This is done through enforcing fire safety codes, fire investigations and performing inspections of, but not limited to, fire drills, schools, multi-family dwellings and commercial properties. As well as providing, permitting and approving plan reviews, fire suppression and detection systems, and commercial equipment installations.
The Fire Prevention Bureau office is located at 8259 Willow Spring Road in Willow Springs and is staffed with a full time Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal and an Administrative Assistant. We are proud to take a pro-active approach to serving a community of citizens we shield and protect.
