The Tri-State Fire District was called at 4:34 PM on February 6, 2017 for a reported roof fire at 722 Cedar Street, Willow Springs. Companies arrived to find a fire on the roof of a two-story single-family residence. Crews made entry and extinguished the fire with one hose line. The fire was due to a faulty fireplace which caused fire to spread to the attic of the residence. There was moderate smoke and water damage to the interior of the residence. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

Tri-State crews were assisted by Bedford Park FD, Westmont FD, Pleasantview FPD, LaGrange Park FD,  Downers Grove FD, Oak Brook Terrace FPD, Romeoville FD, Riverside FD and Northwest Homer FPD.

Tri-State Fire District is now able to perform child car seat check-ups. We have a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) on staff. Our trained technician will teach you everything you need to know to make sure your car seat is fitted and installed correctly.

The Tri-State Fire District was called at 11:03 AM on December 26, 2016 for a report of smoke coming from the house at 209 Spring Street, Willow Springs. Companies arrived to find smoke coming from the eaves of a one-story vacant single-family residence. Crews forced entry and extinguished the fire with one hose line. The interior suffered moderate fire and smoke damage. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation and is believed to be electrical in nature.  Tri-State crews were assisted by Pleasantview FPD, Bedford Park FD, Westmont FD, Oak Brook Terrace FPD, Downers Grove FD, Romeoville FD, Riverside FD and Northwest Homer FPD.
